Paul Salas, from popular child star to serious young actor
Sure, he may have yet to land a role that would launch him from popular child star to serious young actor...
... but due to the fact that he has appeared in such notable soaps like Mulawin, Majika and Kung Fu Kids is not a bad start.
Born Paul Andre Salas on april 16 1998 in Quezon City. The title holder of BEST CHILD PERFORMER of the 31st Metro Manila Film festival got his start in television commercials and image modelling before Director Joven Tan cast him in "Forever my Love" as (ricky) in 2004 with Oyo Boy Sotto and Nadine Samonte.
For someone who has been acting infront of the camera since age 5, Paul has remarkably brought a great deal of intensity to his performances. For an actor with such modest talent Paul is self-concious that he takes time preparing every take, carefully reading scripts, and focusing on his acting. While not on the set, Paul spends time watching movies and getting tips from them .
